How do I report Group and Team Coaching hours on my coaching log?

Modified on Wed, May 14 at 2:37 PM

When you're logging your coaching hours, make sure to keep group and team coaching separate from individual client coaching.

For group or team sessions, log these details:

1. The name and email of one participant (no need to list everyone or the group's name).

2. The start and end dates of the overall coaching engagement.

3. The number of hours spent coaching, both paid and pro bono.

4. The number of people in the group or team. Remember, only groups of 15 or fewer count unless you have a co-coach. If you do, the coaching time is split between both coaches.

Remember: Each person in the group or team counts as an individual client. But, the time spent coaching isn't multiplied by the number of participants. So, if you coach 15 people for one hour, it still counts as just one hour of coaching — not 15.
