The ICF Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) and Approved Coach Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) designations are now retired. But don’t worry — your education still counts toward earning an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential.
ACTP programs:
What It Was: ACTP programs were comprehensive, including the education hours, mentor coaching, and performance evaluation needed to meet PCC requirements. ACTP programs transitioned to Level 2 programs beginning in 2022.
1. If you completed an ACTP program in full (including the mentor coaching and coaching skill assessment), you will apply for your PCC through the Level 2 Application Path.
2. If you completed only part of an ACTP program (and did not complete it entirely), you will apply for your PCC through the Portfolio Application Path.
ACSTH programs:
ACSTH programs focused on providing coaching education. The other requirements — mentor coaching and a recorded session for performance evaluation — must be submitted and verified separately in the Portfolio Application.
- If you completed an ACSTH program, you will apply for your PCC through the Portfolio Application Path.
