Can I submit training that is not ICF pre-approved as CCE?

You may submit training that has not been approved in advance by the ICF involving live, voice-to-voice interaction between instructors and students as CCE, but there is no guarantee that it will be accepted as CCE.

In order to count non-ICF approved courses for CCE units, applicants must provide the below information with the online credential renewal application.

    • Proof of completion;
    • Submission of a detailed curriculum that outlines the course as a whole; the materials must be detailed enough to demonstrate a strong connection between the class material presented and the ICF Core Competencies; and
    • Submission of any supplementary information or class room materials (PowerPoints, PDFs, etc.).
    • Course material outside of the ICF Core Competencies will be considered for Resource Development (RD) CCE units.
