If I do not pass the evaluation, what happens?

Modified on Tue, Mar 18 at 4:24 PM

If you do not pass the performance evaluation, you initially have two options: a retake or a rescore.

You may select to retake the performance evaluation by submitting a new performance evaluation recording and accompanying transcript(s) within 6 months of your results notice. The retake fee is $150 USD per recording and retake fees are non-refundable.

Alternatively, you may request a rescore of your original recording(s) and transcript(s) within six months of the date of your results notice. Only one rescore per performance evaluation recording is permitted.

You must pay a fee of $150 USD per recording before the rescore is conducted. In cases where the rescore results in a passing score, you will receive a refund of the rescore fee.

If the rescore result is below passing standard, you will not be refunded the rescore fee. After that, you may purchase a retake to continue with your application.
