Training providers report that their ICF accreditation or approval is vital to their ability to market their offerings and demonstrate their commitment to high standards. Because ICF-accredited and –approved programs are listed on ICF’s Training Program Search Service and have the ability to spotlight their status on websites and promotional materials, they are able to promote their offerings to a wider network that includes prospective coaches, practitioners seeking an ICF Credential, and corporate and government entities that wish to train their personnel to deliver coaching services internally.

Although the value of ICF accreditation and approval is immense, ICF’s fees for these processes have remained static for more than eight years, and are well below the cost of program approvals offered by other organizations. In order to ensure the continued consistency, integrity and operational excellence of ICF’s accreditation and approval processes going forward, the ICF Global Board of Directors approved a change to the fee structures for initial ACTP, ACSTH and CCE program applications.
